Rescue and Reclaim

The fabric blooms that feature in my headpieces are created at the Tirra Lirra Atelier using rescued and reclaimed vintage silks and other fabrics.

They are crafted using off-cuts of all the foundation and decorative materials in the creation of my pieces, with almost nothing thrown away.

Each bloom at the Tirra Lirra Atelier is cut by hand, so small pieces of material can be used for petals and foliage, that would otherwise be thrown away.
